Laurel Hell

I've planted this bed with mountain laurels and native woodland ground covers. Kalmias grow slowly but I hope they will eventually mound up and make my own little 'laurel hell'.

This fall I added more native groundcovers:
Virginia snakeroot, Aristolochia serpentaria
Rattlesnake plantain, Goodyera pubescens
Allegheny spurge, Pachysandra procumbens
